Diego Maradona will sit down with officials next week to decide whether he will continue as head of the Argentina national team.
The Argentine Football Association (AFA) has offered a contract through to 2014 and the former star has said a decision will be made next week.
The normally outspoken Maradona, whose Argentina were knocked out in the eighth round by Germany, has not spoken with the media since returning from South Africa.
After the 4-0 loss to Germany, Maradona declared he would step down as coach, but local media reports cite people close to Maradona who say he will continue.
He will meet with AFA head Julio Grondona next week, with Argentina's next match against Ireland on the August 11.
